Review
My wife (able-bodied) and I (wheelchair bound) stayed in the ground floor apartment of 'Casa Charlotte' in Nerja, Spain. This apartment was found to be suitable for myself who is confined to a wheelchair the following points should be noted:
- Door into apt. 86cms. wide
- Most electrical plugs and lights easily reached from wheelchair
- Bathroom Door 80cms. wide and opens out. Bathroom Roll-in-shower for people confined to wheelchair, fixed wall seat for people with limited mobility, clip on/off raised toilet seat raising seat ht. to 50cms, 2 fold up/down arms at toilet.
- Bedroom Two sliding doors, maximum opening 120cms, one king size bed which can be split into 2 single beds, from floor to top of mattress 52.5cms
I have stayed in hotels and self catering apartments around Europe and would rate Casa Charlotte as one of the BEST.

We found a little haven at Nerja, and a jewel of an apartment in a Spanish style house in the old part of town, amid native Andalucians.
The owners, Frans and Nuttee, were like old friends by the time we left, and the apartments were spotless, decorated by hand, as if for a cherished friend. Everything was provided; music, full kitchen equipment, TV, beach towels and umbrella, and even a rooftop terrace. In short, we were spoiled, even down to Frans' offer of a town tour! And the beach was a block away!

Terrific apartment in Nerja, Spain
The highlight of our trip was a week at Casa Charlotte in Nerja on the south coast of Spain. The three apartments are roomy, modern, clean, have great kitchen area, all the amenities and located in a charming house on a cobblestone residential street in the heart of downtown Nerja. This is a real Spanish neighborhood, with the bakery, grocery, cafes, and everything you need just a few minutes away - not to mention the beautiful Nerja beaches. Right next door is El Chispa, a great little seafood place mentioned in Rick's Spain and Portugal! Our hosts, Frans and Nuttee, looked after us like their own family, even giving us a personal walking tour of the town. Casa Charlotte is a real beauty and a super home away from home. Susan Green

I recommend you visit Nerja, near Malaga. I specially enjoyed staying at Casa Charlotte. The place is gorgeous and can accommodate small groups of friends or family

Top apartment in Spanish Seaside Town

Description:
My wife and I stayed at Casa Charlotte. It's located in Nerja the Spanish section and 5 minutes to the beach. Both Frans and his wife Nuttee speak good English , and treat you like family. I highly recommend it.
Unique Qualities:
Great Spanish feel; views from the roof; lots of flowers; next door to great tapa bars; large bedroom and kitchen; satillite TV; all modern appliances; easy walking to stores, restaurants and beach; clean well and well maintained; indoor atrium.
