A secluded Villa with Pool, located amid olive trees and vineyards outside of Todi in Umbria, Italy.

| Rolling hills blanketed with oaks and evergreens. Fields of golden wheat alternating with rows of brilliant sunflowers. Lazy rivers meandering across fertile valleys. Great food – seasonal and locally produced, with equally good wines to wash it down. And Romanesque churches, medieval villages and renaissance masterpieces to keep you entertained should you so desire. Although this idyllic description – straight out of a Frances Mayes book – could apply to any number of central Italian hideaways, I am writing about the view out the window of my home, Pergolaccio, outside of Todi, in Umbria, Italy.
