A historic stone house in a 3000 yr old village on a hill overlooking the sea (10 mins by car) with the backdrop of the Targetus mountains. Still virtually undiscovered, the area is outstandingly beautiful at all times of the year and attracts writers, painters, walkers and romantics - a perfect retreat yet only 40 min from Kalamata.

| The house is furnished with Greek antiques with our family in mind, so it is far more comfortable and elegant than a holiday let. There is a large living room with traditional beams, three lovely bedrooms, mosaic and handpainted bathrooms, a big kitchen and a choice of three terraces in which to eat al fresco. Stairs lead to to the top terrace where you can watch the sun set and admire the magnificent views along the coast. We have air-conditioning and heating so the house is confortable in all seasons. There is also a wonderful bread oven in the bottom terrace. There is a great Taverna and little shop in the village for conveniant meals and drinks. |

The house is about 10 mins by car to the nearest beach which has a shady taverna and there are lots of restaurants in villages nearby that we often walk to in the evening. We have a House Book filled with all the fabulous places you can visit from beaches, restaurants and wild walks to secret churches , river caves and hidden villages in the vicinity. Great for sun, sand, swimming and walking. Spring is spectacularly verdant; summer, divine and autumn deliciously warm until November.
