The loveliest old perched villages to see in this French Tuscany - Ménerbes, Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux, Saignon. Visit also the Palais des Papes in the centre of the historic forified town of Avignon. Go wine tasting in the multitude of wine domaines. For local specialities, there are many local peasant markets but you should experience also the Antiques Sunday market at L'Isle-sur-Sorgue, the little Venice in Provence, near the Fontaine de Vaucluse. There is simply so much to do and see but the house also provides a restful haven.
