Ideally situated for wine lovers, the house is within easy driving distance of classic vineyards such as St Emilion, Bordeaux and many local favourites such as Bergerac, Percharmant. The local town, Ste Foy la Grande provides all amenities, restaurants, banks, cafes, tourist office and full shopping facilities, and hosts one of the biggest and most well known local markets on Saturday mornings - not to be missed! In or out of season, Ste Foy la Grande is an historic, thriving, working town, nestling on the banks of the Dordogne River. Canoeing, boat rides and other activities are available on the Dordogne and there is also a nearby golf course.
