Merle is easily drivable - 7hrs from St. Malo or Caen. Alternatively, Ryan Air operate flights from Stanstead to Bergerac and FlyBe from Southampton, Birmingham and Bristol to Bergerac (25 minutes from Merle). British Airways fly from Gatwick to Bordeaux (1hr 30m from Merle).

This spacious farmhouse full of character contains many original features such as oak beams and traditional fireplace. 4 bedrooms, (1 on ground floor), 3 bathrooms and large spacious open plan living area with comfortable armchairs and sofas around a woodburning stove. Wifi internet access, satellite tv (english and french), dvd player, films, large selection of books. The kitchen is equipped with an electric/gas range cooker and all modern facilities. French doors lead out to covered southfacing paved terrace and eating area with barbecue. Pool with roman steps (cleaned daily), sun terrace, loungers. Bedlinen and house towels are all provided. The village of Lauzun is 3 km away which has all your shopping requirements plus a good restaurant and a 14th-17th Century Chateau.
